Comments Off on 10 Affordable Baby Products You Can Shop Online

One of my most frequently asked questions are about what baby products I used the most, what I wish I had that I didn’t and what I thought I needed but never did. It can be SO overwhelming when shopping for the first time for your baby, so it’s important to ask others to make it easier on yourself. Within this post I have highlighted 15 affordable baby products that fall under my ‘Must Have’ list.

All of the items listed can be found on the Best Buy Canada website, and right now the majority of them are actually on sale. Don’t wait to check them out though because the sale ends soon!

This post is sponsored by Best Buy Canada. All content is written by me from my own personal views and opinions.

10 Affordable Must Have Baby Products from Best Buy Canada Online

  1. Baby Carrier: This is at the top of my list because it was hands down my most used baby item and you can continue to use carriers for a long time. I just recently got my hands on an Ergo from Best Buy Canada and love that my two year old fits so snug and comfortable. This will make attending busy events, shopping and going for hikes so much easier with my hands totally free! Shop Carriers Here.

  2. Recliner: We were blessed with a vintage rocking chair that was passed down from an Aunt in our family, though my sister’s both bough new recliners and they are a dream! Seriously, if you can invest in one — do it! The amount of hours you spend rocking your baby and working to get them to sleep deserves a comfortable rocking chair, your back and butt will thank you too! Shop Recliners Here.

  3. Baby Monitor: This is something that we have never had, but believe me, it’s something we have borrowed and I always wished that we ended up investing in. Such a great product for peace of mind, I can’t even say how many times my children have woken up from me just going in to peek at them. There are a number of monitors to choose from on the Best Buy Canada website, this one if on sale during their baby event. Shop Monitors Here
  4. Raised Bassinet: Our kids spent the first 4-6 months next to our bed in a raised bassinet and it was the best thing, especially after my C-Section. Moses baskets are super cute and trendy but it’s important to find something functional, safe and practical for those middle of the night wake ups and feeds having them close to you and in their own sleeping quarters is brilliant. Shop Bassinets Here.

  5. Swaddle Blankets: One of our most used baby items. Whether you are wrapping baby up or saving yourself from a spit up incident you are going to want a fair supply of comfortable swaddle blankets. Best Buy Canada sells one of my favorite brands for swaddles, Aden + Anais. Just look at how cute this Disney print is! Shop Swaddles Here.

  6. Highchair: You can wait until baby has arrived to pick out this item, or keep your eye on Best Buy baby sales like the one happening now. It’s important to look at reviews and find a great highchair that cleans really well. You will be constantly wiping off your highchair so avoid and with lots of gaps or cracks that food can get lodged in. Shop Highchairs Here.

  7. Bottles: Over the years we have used a number of different bottles, one that we found consistently was liked by all our kids was the Avent bottles. You an buy them in groups of three and with different nipple speeds. Shop Bottles Here.

  8. Car Seat/Nursing Cover: Another most used baby item over here. This was a life saver when out and about with baby and they were sleeping. People can’t help but stop and Ohhh and Ahhh at your baby, common’ they are just SO CUTE! Use one of these covers to keep your baby hidden during nap times and still get what you need done without being stopped by every other human. Shop Car Seat/Nursing Covers Here.
  9. Thermometer: I’ve heard such amazing things about this specific thermometer, it’s also on sale during the Best Buy baby event. Score! It is always a great idea to make sure you have a thermometer on had through all the years of parenting. Kids catch colds and other sicknesses so easily (and so frequently) you want to make sure that their temperature is monitored for your own peace of mind and reassurance for when you need to take them for medical support or not. Shop Health Care Items Here.
  10. Diaper Bag Backpack: A serious lifesaver. I remember for our first baby I just bought a tote bag and was like, there done! WRONG! It was one of my most regretted choices, I had no idea how much I needed pockets, inserts and that changing pad that often comes within diaper bags. Take your time when deciding, the more compartments the better and a backpack style is a definite win — loving this JJ Cole one on sale from Best Buy Canada.

We are SO HAPPY with the Ergo from Best Buy Canada and loved that we could order online after reading and knowing about what a great product it was. Evelyn fit like a glove and found herself so cozy when we tried it on for the first time, I mean I think her expressions says it all!

Enjoy your shopping for affordable baby products! I hope you found some baby and toddler items that you needed during the Best Buy Canada baby sale. I can’t believe some of their amazing prices — like that recliner at over $100 off! Head to the Best Buy Canada website now to dive into more great savings.

Whenever I share about our family off on another adventure I’m often asked about what it’s like travelling with three kids. Sometimes it will be comments like “brave mama” or something of the sort. Which I totally understand, it can seem so overwhelming to travel with kids. But I want to encourage you all to not hold back by how tired you might be ... or that you won’t be able to relax as much if your kids weren’t there. Travelling with your kids, seeing new places through their learning eyes is refreshing in itself. Tiring yes, but so so rewarding.
.
How do you feel about travelling with kids?
  • I made these for Mother’s Day and then decided to keep them
for myself. Ha!

Using my @canoncanada PIXMA Printer and
their restickable paper, I put together a quick and easy DIY that would make a perfect gift for someone.. or for yourself.
Personalized wine bottles!

Thanks for ALL the recommendations for everything to do in Gibson’s and the surrounding area. There are SO MANY awesome locally owned shops we want to discover still. Today started with a 🛥 tour by @sunshinekayaking as we explored along @sunshinecoastbc and the surrounding islands, we grabbed ☕️ at @beachcombercoffee and 🍦 at @mikesplace2003 along with food at @black.bean.cafe #yum !

Explored a little along the 🏖 and then discovered everything within @gibsonspublicmarket — leaving with some 🧀 🥖 🍎 for afternoon snacks. See everything in my stories including some sea creatures from @nsmec 🦐 🐟 🦀 sooo cool!! A quick 🚎 ride home with @bc_transit for a rest before the kids start begging to go for a 🏊‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️... it’s definitely tiring travelling around all day with three kiddos but my mamas some sort of superhero and their eagerness to learn and love for exploring makes it 💫🙌🏻🥰

One more day to #exploreBCbybus — excited to see what’s to come.
  • I’m surprised you can’t see the wrinkles on our bodies from the camera after our three hour swim this afternoon.
We got up at 630AM to make sure we had enough time to finish packing 🤦🏼‍♀️ and drive out to catch our @bcferries — after a quick ⛴ ride over we all hopped on the @bc_transit city 🚎 into Gibson’s and then further into Sechelt ... where we became water prunes. 🏊
I’ve been asked to share an article for @bc_transit on our experience as we #exploreBCbybus 🚎 — the next few days I’ll be sharing on my Stories some of the places we explore too! I’d love to hear your recommendations on places to eat, thanks to a lovely follower for suggesting dinner at 🍔 @pklsburgers, we are pleasantly stuffed.

Where should we go next?? 🌊 ☀️ We’ll be around Gibson’s and Sechelt the next two days.

Also, just gotta add... my mom makes a pretty great #InstagramGrammy 🙌🏻🥰🤣
  • You don’t need to birth a child to be a mama. I don’t talk about being a step-mama very often, mostly because overall it doesn’t feel any different then being a mama to the kiddos I birthed. Everyone’s journey to motherhood looks and feels different, some may seem easier but each unique with their own challenges. Wherever you are in your motherhood journey today, I want to say that you are loved, you are appreciated and you are exactly what the child you are mothering needs.
