A Day at the Abbotsford Tulip Festival

Some days motherhood can seem a little daunting, especially when I haven’t made a plan for the day and the weather isn’t looking that promising. On this particular day I was feeling like I needed a little pick me up and our visit to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival was just that.

Rows upon rows of gorgeous blooms, really can you go wrong? I was blessed by the company of my sister-in-law and that she was able to capture some candid moments.

We joked that Sophie was more interested in the dirt and mud then the actual tulips, because well she spent most of her time hoping over the puddles (mental note: sandals aren’t the best shoe choice). Nonetheless, my morning mood was quickly changed around by the fresh air, lovely company and floral landscape.
