Recently I received an email from an Instagram follower asking me about how I get inspired. I read it over a couple times with a little grin on my face as it wasn’t too long ago I was sending emails asking people I admired what inspired them. It is a pretty cool feeling when things go full circle and you are able to share what you have learned with others within your community.

My answer to the question was simple, to not expect to find inspiration to happen, but rather go out about your day as you would and absorb what others are doing, how they may be doing things differently and then learn, interpret and develop it in your own way.

On September 25, 2015, Vancouver Mom, Entrepreneur Mom Now Vancouver and Jelly Bean are hosting their fourth annual one-day event, Leading Moms. Now I know I said not to expect inspiration to happen, but I mean that on a day-to-day basis, when you have an opportunity to sit down, listen and interact with woman and mothers going through essentially the same things as you, you can definitely expect to be inspired.

  • Still can’t believe Evelyn is TWO!! I told myself I wasn’t going to do anything fancy and really “toned” it down for this party set up. To most it’ll seem a little over the top, but truth is it was a quick trip to @partycity, a local thrift store and reusing items I already have to complete this tea party. More photos on the blog (link in profile).
  • Press play ▶️ We came home yesterday to cucumbers the size of our heads, giving Evelyn a not so hidden smile. 😃 ha!

  • A coffee a day keeps the mom meltdowns away!⠀
⠀
...some days I feel like I need more timeouts then my kids... most of the time it’s the days where I’m feeling overtired and quite likely haven’t had my morning coffee yet! 🤦🏼♀🤣 ha!⠀
⠀
Definitely love having @nespresso.ca at my fingertips. Great coffee at the tap of a finger, yes please!⠀
⠀
I made this iced coffee at home using our VertuoPlus and the limited edition on-ice capsules, Ispirazione Salentina and Ispirazione Shakerato and we brought our Essenza Mini to the cabin this week to keep those mom (and dad) meltdowns to a minimum.⠀
