This post is sponsored by Honey Treasures by Garnier. All views and opinions about Honey Treasures and the benefits of Honey on natural hair and in your hair routine are my own.

How often do you wash your hair, leave it to dry and then feel photo ready the next morning? Honestly, does that ever happen? It did for me, the day before I left for Las Vegas I used the full line of Honey Treasures by Garnier in the shower and left my hair to dry overnight. I woke up the next morning so impressed with the outcome. My hair not only felt amazing but also looked amazing left down naturally with next to no styling. This post I am sharing what I’ve discover and the benefits of using honey on natural hair.

The first time that I bought Honey Treasures products for our home was just over a year ago. I had brought home the conditioner to try as it stood out to me on the shelves at the store. I was curious about the benefits of using honey on my hair and wanted to see the results. I loved it! Not only that, but my husband LOVED it! (all caps cause, he stole the bottle and ended up moving it to his bathroom).

The Benefits of Using Honey on Natural Hair and in Your Hair Routine

  1. Reconstructs Over Treated Hair

Royal Jelly, also known as “bee’s milk” is a nutrient rich concentrate used within the Honey Treasures line that does wonders on fragile and over treated hair.

  2. More Shine

Women’s Health says, “The enzymes and nutrients in raw honey give dull hair shine without weighing it down.”

  3. Safe For the Whole Family

Honey is an all natural product that is safe to be used on all members of the family. Whether it is for your hair or your child’s hair you can know that it is safe for the whole family.

  4. Fight Bacteria

I’ve read that the use of honey on face and hair products fights bacteria and can protect you from illness.

  5. Speeds up Hair Growth

Because Honey is so nourishing and naturally strengthens and repairs damaged hair it gives the effect of faster hair growth. You hair becomes stronger and the amount of breakage decreases. I’d call that a win!

Garnier offers three products within their Honey Treasures line. Each of the products include honey, their above noted benefits and more! Discover more about Honey Treasures Paraben-Free product line here.

  • Got to hang with some goats and do a little toga today, with about 400 other people. Have you tried goat yoga? Would you??
  • There’s some new faces around here and it’s been a while since I did a little intro, an about me per se... just a little bit more random.

1. I’ve lived in the same town my whole life. Some may think it’s boring.. I’d call it loyal 😅 .. either way, I know a lot about Abbotsford.
2. If you hold your hand up, palm facing away from you. Pull your thumb back and see how far you can go. Mine can touch the back of my arm, it’s forever been my “talent”.
3. It’s been 5 years (almost to the day) since I started my blog. Growing up I wanted to be a nurse, then went to school to be a police officer, changed gears into business and marketing, graduated with graphic design and its led me to hear. I never had big goals or felt like I was on the right path, but motherhood and this space has brought me all the feels.
4. We’ve been looking for land to grow some flowers of our own. My husband grew up on a flower farm (both the peonies and iris’ pictured are from their farm), property prices can just go ahead and come down a little now.
5. I don’t know if the feeling of being done is for real.. like we feel like we are done having kids but I’d be fibbing if I said it doesn’t come to mind every now and again.
.
That’s all for now friends. Share a little something about you below — say hi if you are new hear and thanks for reading til the end 🥰🙌🏻
  • Throwing it back to the other day when I went for an evening dip with my beaver @float.eh — it was such a hoot heading to the beach with @juliechristine_xo and gave me a peek into how much fun this summer is going to be.⠀ ⠀
#ad As you can see these aren’t your typical floaties... or should I say @float.eh ’s 😉 They are proudly Canadian, made with quality in mind. You gotta check out their website and see what other fun Canadian designs they have. [ go to float-eh.ca or see my story highlights for the link ] 🇨🇦
  • “When’s the last time you did something for the first time?” Those were words spoken to our group before starting our Tough Mudder course this past weekend in Whistler. Holy moly guys, I was nervous getting started on that course. Let’s just say... nervous shits are real 😅😂🙊 but that’s what makes it so great. Doing something that literally scares the shit outta you. We all pushed through, all 16km and 25 obstacles and it was FUN, hard but really freaking fun. Even though I’m hobbling around today, dang foot cramp (and literally sore all over) I’m so pumped on doing something new, pushing myself and having such an amazing group of friends tackle it together.

PS our men of tough mudder not pictured but SO equally appreciated.
