This double stroller review is in partnership with Bugaboo Donkey2. Please note that all views and opinions are always my own. I am very specific with the product that is chosen to review and chose items I know and feel will fit our lifestyle and aesthetic.

A part of me is wondering how I did life with three and didn’t have a double stroller for the earlier days. When you have more than one child, things get a little tricky, especially when leaving the house. If I could go back to when I had my first, when I was looking for a stroller, I would be looking for something that could grow with our family. The Bugaboo Donkey2 is the perfect example of high quality product that works great with one kid, two kids and more!

It has been a joy taking out my little squad using our Bugaboo Donkey2 as a double stroller. Though it can be used as a single or a double I am the most excited about the opportunity to have both of my kids buckled up. For those that know my oldest daughter, you know she has a lot of energy, likes to dart off and has a mind of her own. Even though she is capable of walking just fine, I have already noticed the ease of having her ride alongside her younger sister.

Finding a stroller (and any other baby gear) that grows while your children saves money overtime and also makes life so much easier. I have had the opportunity to try the new Bugaboo Donkey2 for the past few weeks now and am excited to share some of the key features and benefits that I feel set this stroller apart from others on the market.

Single & Double Stroller Review: Bugaboo Donkey2

Customization:

When viewing online at the Bugaboo Donkey2 you can see that they are fully customizable. you can choose different coloured frames, 3 basic fabric colour options, and even more customization with 11 colour options for the sun canopy and side luggage basket. Bugaboo also has a number of add ons that make you can customize to make your stroller unique and perfect for you. For ours we added the wheeled kick board and seat liner, we have our eyes on the drink tray now too!

Foam filled Tires:

For someone that is planning on using your stroller daily this is going to be more important than you know. I can’t even explain how many times a previous stroller I used got a flat tire. Waking up in the morning and having to walk my son to school only to realize that the stroller tire is flat was never enjoyable. The super maneuverability with the all-new foam filled tires is something I overlooked as a first time stroller purchaser. With the tires aligned sleek to the frame of the Donkey2 you can also fit through standard doorways without any issue.

Optimal Storage:

More kids = More things. If you are a new mama, you will be surprised at the amount of “things” you will be trekking from one place to the next just for baby. As you start to add more kids, you are only going to add more “things” to that. The Bugaboo Donkey2 has a spacious basket underneath the seats that will expand when adjusted into duo mode. While using as a single stroller the side basket allows for even more storage, which I have found is perfect when doing a quick trip to the grocery store.

Grows With Your Family:

As noted above, in my opinion, finding products that grow with your family are going to be the most beneficial for you in the long run. With just a few clicks you can turn your single stroller into a double, perfect for growing families or even twins. The seats allow you to have bassinets or toddler style seating with the push of a button you can switch, change direction and alter the diagonal it rests at.

  • Got to hang with some goats and do a little toga today, with about 400 other people. Have you tried goat yoga? Would you??
  • There’s some new faces around here and it’s been a while since I did a little intro, an about me per se... just a little bit more random.

1. I’ve lived in the same town my whole life. Some may think it’s boring.. I’d call it loyal 😅 .. either way, I know a lot about Abbotsford.
2. If you hold your hand up, palm facing away from you. Pull your thumb back and see how far you can go. Mine can touch the back of my arm, it’s forever been my “talent”.
3. It’s been 5 years (almost to the day) since I started my blog. Growing up I wanted to be a nurse, then went to school to be a police officer, changed gears into business and marketing, graduated with graphic design and its led me to hear. I never had big goals or felt like I was on the right path, but motherhood and this space has brought me all the feels.
4. We’ve been looking for land to grow some flowers of our own. My husband grew up on a flower farm (both the peonies and iris’ pictured are from their farm), property prices can just go ahead and come down a little now.
5. I don’t know if the feeling of being done is for real.. like we feel like we are done having kids but I’d be fibbing if I said it doesn’t come to mind every now and again.
.
That’s all for now friends. Share a little something about you below — say hi if you are new hear and thanks for reading til the end 🥰🙌🏻
  • Throwing it back to the other day when I went for an evening dip with my beaver @float.eh — it was such a hoot heading to the beach with @juliechristine_xo and gave me a peek into how much fun this summer is going to be.⠀ ⠀
#ad As you can see these aren’t your typical floaties... or should I say @float.eh ’s 😉 They are proudly Canadian, made with quality in mind. You gotta check out their website and see what other fun Canadian designs they have. [ go to float-eh.ca or see my story highlights for the link ] 🇨🇦
  • “When’s the last time you did something for the first time?” Those were words spoken to our group before starting our Tough Mudder course this past weekend in Whistler. Holy moly guys, I was nervous getting started on that course. Let’s just say... nervous shits are real 😅😂🙊 but that’s what makes it so great. Doing something that literally scares the shit outta you. We all pushed through, all 16km and 25 obstacles and it was FUN, hard but really freaking fun. Even though I’m hobbling around today, dang foot cramp (and literally sore all over) I’m so pumped on doing something new, pushing myself and having such an amazing group of friends tackle it together.

PS our men of tough mudder not pictured but SO equally appreciated.

  • Opened up my second Maple Box today and loving the natural and organic products that I am able to discover. The @hollowtree1987 candle and @sealuxe scrub are two of my favourites already.

I’ve loved how each box has introduced me to both self care and wellness products focused on creating healthier lifestyles. Head to @maplemagazinecanada to discover more info on ordering for yourself. Spring box available, while supplies last (and last I heard it was limited) #ad #maplemagazine #mapleboxcanada
