We have had our fair share of booster seats to say the very least. From my first time booster seat shopping to my second time what I was looking for in a booster seat was completely different. First time around I don’t think I really knew how many options were out there. When our son was old enough to have a booster seat we drove down to Wal-Mart and basically got him to pick which one he liked the most. As I am sure you can guess, he picked based on the fabric and went for the one with little bikes all over it. This time around I knew I was looking for a convertible booster seat, on that would grow with our children and support them the best ways possible.

When Nuna Canada asked us if we would be interested in doing a car seat review for the Nuna Aace Booster Seat it didn’t take long to see that it would be a perfect fit. Our family is super familiar with the Nuna brand as our kids have grown to love the Nuna Leaf (baby seat), Nuna Tavo (compatible stroller) and the Nuna Zaaz (highchair). All of these products that were already in our home have grown so well with our children, been quality products and ones that I highly recommend.

As I got to get familiar with our new convertible booster seat, the Nuna Aace, I could see features of this car seat that highly out weighed our last booster seat. Not only did it come with a full padded back rest and side shoulder systems but it converts to a simpler booster seat as your child grows bigger. Below are 5 key features of the Nuna Aace that I feel make it’s one of a kind.

5 Key Features of the Nuna Aace Convertible Booster Seat

  1. 3D Growth System

“Grow Up, Grow out, Grow On” as Nuna likes to say. The Nuna Aace is built to be adjustable from every angle. You have options to adjust the height of the headrest and the width of the shoulder protection simultaneously. When your child is ready to outgrow as convert the booster seat you can remove the back and let your child continue to grow on.

  2. Side Impact Protection

The adjustable side shoulder pads are built using energy absorbing foam that largely increase side impact security. Not only that, but I have found that my daughter still sleeps so well with this seat becomes of the added comfort around her sides. I’m sure we all appreciate a good car nap, they don’t have to end when your child outgrows their baby seat!

  3. Super Breathable and Washable fabric

I know I’m not the only one with messy kids, it’s enviable. I never used to think about the ease of washing something before I bought it, until I had kids. The easier it is to remove a cover the better! The knit fabric is super breathable for every month of the year for your child and washes just as great.

  4. Belt Positioner

This could easily be my favorite feature, and something that I didn’t realize I missed out on with our first child’s seat until after having it now. As you can see pictured the seatbelt is placed perfectly across my daughters shoulder and secured for the safest position while driving. The belt positioner minimizes error when on the go and maintains a comfortable placement for your child.

  5. Side Cup Holder

I had to include this feature as I think it is one of my daughter’s favorites. What makes this cup holder unique is it’s slick design, but also the fact that you (or your child) can easily move it from either side. Depending on whether you have a lefty or a righty, or perhaps just the mood of you child will determine where you place that cup holder on any given day, if at all. Your call.

There is always so much to consider when shopping for any car seat, my best advice is to find one that will last through the quick growth of your child. Learn from me, different car seats do offer much different benefits and just walking into your nearest shopping mart is not the best way to go.

Thank you so much to Nuna for gifting this convertible booster seat for review. All views and opinions are always my own.

Whenever I share about our family off on another adventure I’m often asked about what it’s like travelling with three kids. Sometimes it will be comments like “brave mama” or something of the sort. Which I totally understand, it can seem so overwhelming to travel with kids. But I want to encourage you all to not hold back by how tired you might be ... or that you won’t be able to relax as much if your kids weren’t there. Travelling with your kids, seeing new places through their learning eyes is refreshing in itself. Tiring yes, but so so rewarding.

How do you feel about travelling with kids?
  • I made these for Mother’s Day and then decided to keep them
for myself. Ha!

Using my @canoncanada PIXMA Printer and
their restickable paper, I put together a quick and easy DIY that would make a perfect gift for someone.. or for yourself.

Thanks for ALL the recommendations for everything to do in Gibson’s and the surrounding area. There are SO MANY awesome locally owned shops we want to discover still. Today started with a 🛥 tour by @sunshinekayaking as we explored along @sunshinecoastbc and the surrounding islands, we grabbed ☕️ at @beachcombercoffee and 🍦 at @mikesplace2003 along with food at @black.bean.cafe #yum !

Explored a little along the 🏖 and then discovered everything within @gibsonspublicmarket — leaving with some 🧀 🥖 🍎 for afternoon snacks. See everything in my stories including some sea creatures from @nsmec 🦐 🐟 🦀 sooo cool!! A quick 🚎 ride home with @bc_transit for a rest before the kids start begging to go for a 🏊‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️... it’s definitely tiring travelling around all day with three kiddos but my mamas some sort of superhero and their eagerness to learn and love for exploring makes it 💫🙌🏻🥰

One more day to #exploreBCbybus — excited to see what’s to come.
  • I’m surprised you can’t see the wrinkles on our bodies from the camera after our three hour swim this afternoon.
We got up at 630AM to make sure we had enough time to finish packing 🤦🏼‍♀️ and drive out to catch our @bcferries — after a quick ⛴ ride over we all hopped on the @bc_transit city 🚎 into Gibson’s and then further into Sechelt ... where we became water prunes. 🏊
I’ve been asked to share an article for @bc_transit on our experience as we #exploreBCbybus 🚎 — the next few days I’ll be sharing on my Stories some of the places we explore too! I’d love to hear your recommendations on places to eat, thanks to a lovely follower for suggesting dinner at 🍔 @pklsburgers, we are pleasantly stuffed.

Where should we go next?? 🌊 ☀️ We’ll be around Gibson’s and Sechelt the next two days.

Also, just gotta add... my mom makes a pretty great #InstagramGrammy 🙌🏻🥰🤣
  • You don’t need to birth a child to be a mama. I don’t talk about being a step-mama very often, mostly because overall it doesn’t feel any different then being a mama to the kiddos I birthed. Everyone’s journey to motherhood looks and feels different, some may seem easier but each unique with their own challenges. Wherever you are in your motherhood journey today, I want to say that you are loved, you are appreciated and you are exactly what the child you are mothering needs.
