There couldn’t be a better time to step up your Digital Marketing skills. With the always evolving world of social media and the increased attention that brands are putting towards it, the area of digital marketing is important to become familiar with. Whether you run a small business, are employed by a large corporation or are seeking employment within Marketing and Advertising, having knowledge in Digital Marketing is one way to stand out from others. Jelly Academy’s Fraser Valley Digital Marking Course is starting on May 8, 2018 at Trinity Western University.

Jelly Academy has created the course to be practical and based off real life experiences. Their focus is on real-world best practices in digital marketing. This is one of the only courses of it’s kind offered within the Fraser Valley. The program is also a part of the Canada BC-Job Grant. Students are able to apply for the grant to get 2/3 of their tuition covered.

Digital Marketing Course Details

Course Coverage

  • Gain certification in Google Analytics, Adwords and Facebook Blueprint
  • The importance of having a Digital Marketing Strategy for a business and how to create one.
  • How to identify the pain points in a company’s strategy
  • Discovering who your target market is, why it’s good to identify them and how to reach them effectively
  • How to set SMART marketing goals, and identify results to measure success

Course Structure

  • Module 1: Social Media
  • Module 2: Digital Arts
  • Module 3: Public Relations
  • Module 4: Content Marketing

Course Format

  • 18 hours over 6 sessions. Classes once a week.
  • Capacity max at 40 people
  • Tuesday Evenings: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM from May 8th – June 12th

Certification You Will Receive

Upon completion of the course you will receive the Jelly Academy Digital and Public Relations Certificate. You will also gain the knowledge and support to the following Google Certificates:

  • Adwords Fundamentals
  • Search Advertising
  • Display Advertising
  • Google Analytics
  • Hootsuite’s Social Marketing Certificate
  • Facebook Blueprint

  • Just about to head to Whistler with this guy and so excited to spend some time just the two of us! It’s been a whhhiiilllleeeeeee
  • Part way through our lunch the kids started to bicker back and forth, creating a rather not-so-enjoyable moment for everyone. It's those moments that us as parents can make a difference, how we handle situations with our children allows them to learn and grow through our words and actions. We spoke about the importance of being kind and how much more enjoyable our time together is when we are all speaking respectfully and sharing. .

I then shared with the kids that that was exactly why I was taking a few pictures with our pizza, to share with others about the launch of @panago_pizza's 2nd annual Bullying Awareness and Prevention campaign. That Panago wanted to celebrate young people who are being kind and looking out for others in their communities. Our kids are learning everyday, it's our job to be great role models, encourage their kind behaviour and then celebrate them in their good choices. .

  • Hey 👋🏻 it’s kinda late... for some I suppose.. I’m usually up til midnight working away and wanted to hop on and share about my blog/small business journey. It was the start of this year that I really “proclaimed” this as my business and really felt so proud of what I’d created. It’s been A LOT of work to say the least but it’s brought so so much joy, opportunities and relationships. I think today I all the sudden realized we were in November and the end of the year is near. How did that happen?!   • That day we found a marble staircase and @juliechristinephotography made a fart joke. She gets me.
  • Proud mama moment. Sophie came home from kindergarten one afternoon reciting this Remembrance Day poem over and over. It’s pretty cute! Turn your sound on and listen too 😊❤️
  • This picture makes me melt. I set the camera on self-timer and wanted to get some action shots of the three of us working on the "do try this at home" section of the @guinnessworldrecords book. When I looked back at the captures and I saw Ezras very content grin, I just couldn't even. Seriously no words. It reminded me that our kids don't care how we show up (myself pictured with a messy bun & PJs), it's the time we put in that is remembered. •

#ad Thanks to @guinnessworldrecords for encouraging us to attempt one of their 5 maker challenges and seeing how much fun the kids had blowing up balloons and learning to make balloon dogs. After a few tries I completed on in 2 minutes, might not be the fastest time in the books, but we saw some good progress from my first attempt ha!
