I can’t even express how excited I am to have this big girl room completed. It has been on my to do list for several months and we are finally done! Ever since I had a house bed show up in my Pinterest feed a couple years back I knew I wanted something like that for Sophie. My husband offered to make the bed for her room and so the plans for Sophie’s geo floral themed big girl bedroom began.
Let’s just talk about the bed for a minute. That baby was handmade and designed by my husband. He 100% blew me away as he worked away for a couple weekends on designing and building this one of a kind house bed. I showed him a number of similar beds from my “Kid’s Rooms” Pinterest board and he came up with a unique design based on that inspiration. Sophie absolutely adores the bed and tells everyone, “my Daddy made this!”
The number one reason I feel like it took me so long to share and complete this post was because I was never feeling like I was quite done. This week I have been feeling like it is complete and am so happy to share all the hard work and companies whose products are featured.
