What’s one thing you can gift to your girlfriend and you know they will always love it?

You guessed it, a spa gift card. Am I right?! Because let’s be honest, have you ever heard of someone that doesn’t like getting one? Well, lucky for you I am going to be gifting a facial to the new spa in town, Su Casa Spa Fort Langley. You’ll be able to give that as a gift or keep it for yourself, I won’t judge.

On November 5, 2016, Su Casa Spa in Fort Langley is opening it’s doors to the public. This full service spa is in the heart of Fort Langley and can be your new one stop spa destination. From eye extensions and facials to pedicures, reflexology and laser hair removal, Su Casa Spa has you covered.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to go check out Su Casa Spa and Laser for myself. I was treated to a reflexology appointment, which is something that I had been wanting to try out for quite some time. When I arrived to my appointment I was greeted by the friendliest of ladies who were all super ok with the fact that I had brought my baby along to the appointment with me. As I was feeling nervous about that, their friendliness and interest in her made me at ease right away. (side note: I wouldn’t recommend bringing your baby with you to your appointment unless you are like me and you are their only source of food, otherwise mamas take that time for yourselves!)

My reflexology appointment went great and was super informative. As she worked away on the different areas of my feet I was able to mention when areas were more tender then others and hear about where that specific area on my foot was connected to on my body. In almost every case I was currently feeling sore in those spots and the work in our feet can help heal those areas in the other parts of our body.

Can you guess my most sensitive area? It was right in the middle of my foot, which is directly related to your stress levels (eek! Good thing I was getting some relaxation time in.)

After our appointment we were given a little tour of the spa and what stood out to me the most was how the ladies had decorated different walls. One of the largest walls was lined with wood panels, these panels had come from an old barn in Fort Langley and they were repurposed as the wall behind where you would get

your pedicure done. It added some history into their chic and modern decor. With the added touch of wood and accents of black and white photography taken by a local artist you really get a sense of heritage within the building.Su Casa Spa and Laser in Fort LangleySu Casa Spa and Laser in Fort Langley

I hope that you can pop in and check it out for yourself the next time you are visiting Fort Langley.

  • I’ve worn these shoes everyday since surgery, three cheers for not having to bend over to put shoes and socks on. James calls them my “grandma shoes” I call them “awesome”.

  • Evelyn got the honours of putting the star on the tree today, she got it on her first try. 🌟
  • Six years ago James proposed to me after spending the night together at @vandusengarden Festival of Lights. I can't even believe that six years has gone by since we were sipping Apple Cider and walking the pathways with two year old Ezra by our sides. Now, six years later we enjoyed a night at #vandusenfol again, just with a couple more kids by our side. We bundled up, enjoyed mini donuts and hot chocolate, met up with friends and enjoyed multiple rides on the carousel. It's events like this that make the holidays magical and memorable for kids and adults. Swipe right to see images from our night out last week. #ad

  • Home from the hospital and feeling good (a bit loopy) but overall good. Surgery went well, and I’m home to recover. Thankful for all the messages and prayers today, and for my family for all their support.
