Goodbye Halloween… Hello Christmas Shopping! I actually started my Christmas shopping last month, at least thinking about the gifts that I am going to get. This year I am planning on buying the majority of my Christmas shopping from local shops, which makes me even more excited when I hear about great markets like The Trendy Tots Pop-Up Shop.
On November 7th between 12PM-4PM head on down to #202 – 28 West 7th St., Vancouver, BC (offices of Architek)and shop some of amazing local family friendly brands. Find out more about the local brands participating below. **Parking is free, but limited, in the alley behind the office. Entry to the pop-up is also in the alley between 7th and 8th, right behind 33 Acres Brewing.
Westcoast Baby: Captivating in both design and colour, Westcoast Baby has designed a beautiful quality of Laylette line of pieces that have vintage practicality combined with traditional Japanese shapes. Their kimonos are a newborn essential for both newborn and mom, while their swaddling blankets are tried tested and true.
Brok Boys: Designed and created in Kelowna, BC, Brok Boys creates modern digs for your entire family. Their loveable line is created with mostly the softest bamboo fabrics and created in a home full with her four boys. While collaborating with local artists, Brok Boys brings you endless unique and comfortable creations.
Emerson Apparel: Inspired by her daughter, Emerson, and with a mission to promote the spirit of play, Jessica created Emerson Apparel. Unique and stylish clothing “designed for the free-spirited child who loves to climb trees, dance in the rain and play in the sand.”
Beansie Baby: Made up of stylish boys, girls and gender neutral baby and toddler clothing, Beansie Baby, brings together stylish functionality. Sometimes it can be hard to find black and white clothes for your little girls but Beansie Baby has you covered. They have a selection of matching leggings with h a headband or knotted hat set for brand new babies.
Glitter & Spice: With a son that hit, smacked and grabbed all over the place during nursing, Lorene went on the venture to create handmade pieces of jewellery that were stylish and effective for her teething babe. Over a few quick and product months Glitter & Spice has expanded immensely and is continually adding new products suitable for the modern mother.
Bebe Deluxe: A luxury and soothing bath product that is organic and free of toxins, parabens and carcinogens “no-nasties”. The best part is there is no need to worry if baby swallows any of this product because it is food-grade and edible. Bebe Deluxe is also expanding, starting out with the Coconut Milk Bath with plans to add soap bars and more.
Beluga Baby: “The Beluga Baby wrap is fashionable, comfortable, and above all does exactly what you want it to do, makes you and baby happier and closer.” Beluga Baby was started just before Haley gave birth to her first child, with the plan to provide for her family and grow herself professionally, Haley has been able to do just that and help moms along the way.
King & Sage: Created and designed in Vancouver, BC, by two local moms, Kristin and Ashley. Together they create modern unisex tees that are screen-printed with care using on the best ingredients and products. Their designs are created with their children in mind and the idea that each piece can be easily paired with any other in their closet.
