Two Momma Essentials + Giveaway

Giveaway Style & Beauty

For the past two years there have been things that I have used on the daily, a diaper bag and teething necklaces. Choosing these items take time because you want to make sure that you are getting the best products for your money. Ensuring good quality and durability are essential for both of these products. Today I am recommending two brands that I would highly recommend when choosing a diaper bag and teething necklace — as well we are giving you a chance to win a Lily Jade designer diaper bag, created from soft premium leather, and a mommy and me teething necklace set from Glitter & Spice.

Meet Lily Jade: When my first Lily Jade bag came in the mail I hugged it and then breathed a deep breath in as the sweet smell of new leather is just so desirable. I took some time opening up zippers and discovering all of the wonderful pockets that this bag contains. I am wearing the Meggan in black, it is comfortable, converts to a backpack and comes complete with a detachable, washable baby bag organizer and washable Lily Jade changing pad.

With the multiple toys and things that Ezra likes to carry around and Sophie’s multiple outfits that I tend to bring because she never stays clean for long, the size of this bag has been perfect for me and Sophie. Sophie also loves exploring the bag herself and opening up the different zippers and pockets. The inside of the bag is lined with a stunning bold red. Black and red, need I say more. Head to the Lily Jade listing of the Meggan to see images of the inside of the bag packed up with more momma essentials.

Meet Glitter & Spice: Since Sophie was old enough to wear necklaces on her own I have been styling her in Glitter & Spice toddler teething necklaces. She adores wearing necklaces and even more adores matching with me to the necklace that I am wearing. Lorene of Glitter & Spice sources out only the best products for our babes that are safe for them to chew and relieve sensitive gums. Whether your child is newborn and breast feeding, looking for something to grasp onto, or two years old and likes getting into mommy’s jewelry, these necklaces are perfect for every stage of their early years.

Below we are wearing the double strand “Sienna” mommy and me set that you will be given the chance at winning along with a Lily & Jade bag of your choice.

  • Just about to head to Whistler with this guy and so excited to spend some time just the two of us! It’s been a whhhiiilllleeeeeee
  • Part way through our lunch the kids started to bicker back and forth, creating a rather not-so-enjoyable moment for everyone. It's those moments that us as parents can make a difference, how we handle situations with our children allows them to learn and grow through our words and actions. We spoke about the importance of being kind and how much more enjoyable our time together is when we are all speaking respectfully and sharing. .

I then shared with the kids that that was exactly why I was taking a few pictures with our pizza, to share with others about the launch of @panago_pizza's 2nd annual Bullying Awareness and Prevention campaign. That Panago wanted to celebrate young people who are being kind and looking out for others in their communities. Our kids are learning everyday, it's our job to be great role models, encourage their kind behaviour and then celebrate them in their good choices. .

Do you want to take a minute to celebrate a child in your life? From now until Nov 25th Panago is asking for you to nominate a deserving youth and share a story them using compassion to drive change. Go to my stories for more info and the link to nominate #sponsored #asliceofnice
  • Hey 👋🏻 it’s kinda late... for some I suppose.. I’m usually up til midnight working away and wanted to hop on and share about my blog/small business journey. It was the start of this year that I really “proclaimed” this as my business and really felt so proud of what I’d created. It’s been A LOT of work to say the least but it’s brought so so much joy, opportunities and relationships. I love creating and sharing here, but most of all I love encouraging and connecting with YOU! Thanks for being here and for reading this. I think today I all the sudden realized we were in November and the end of the year is near. How did that happen?! If you made it through this little love note, share something about you below.. maybe how you discovered my blog/Instagram or what a goal is that you have? Excited to read through those comments in the AM.
  • That day we found a marble staircase and @juliechristinephotography made a fart joke. She gets me.
  • Proud mama moment. Sophie came home from kindergarten one afternoon reciting this Remembrance Day poem over and over. It’s pretty cute! Turn your sound on and listen too 😊❤️
  • This picture makes me melt. I set the camera on self-timer and wanted to get some action shots of the three of us working on the "do try this at home" section of the @guinnessworldrecords book. When I looked back at the captures and I saw Ezras very content grin, I just couldn't even. Seriously no words. It reminded me that our kids don't care how we show up (myself pictured with a messy bun & PJs), it's the time we put in that is remembered. •

#ad Thanks to @guinnessworldrecords for encouraging us to attempt one of their 5 maker challenges and seeing how much fun the kids had blowing up balloons and learning to make balloon dogs. After a few tries I completed on in 2 minutes, might not be the fastest time in the books, but we saw some good progress from my first attempt ha! If your kids love creating, reading about all sorts of random and crazy accomplishments then head to the blog and check out what's new in the Guinness World Records 2019 edition. #GWR2019
