Walking with Poppy Barley

Style & Beauty
Comments Off on Walking with Poppy Barley

I felt like Cinderella putting on a glass slipper when I first bent down to tie up my Poppy Barley’s. They were the perfect fit and the most comfortable heel that my feet have felt. With increased comfort on the toes and the heels I was walking with ease and absolute stunning style. The detail put into these lace up booties is without mention, absolutely stunning.

While travelling Bali, Justine, co-founder of Poppy Barley, had the experience of receiving luxury and comfort from handcrafted boots that were made just from her. With this incredible experience she gained inspiration to come back to Canada and bring the experience back with her. Justine and her sister, Kendall, joined forces to create this movement together.

“One shoe doesn’t fit all,” says the ladies of Poppy Barley. These shoes are custom made and ethically produced in Leon, Mexico. I am so exited to share that Poppy Barley is visiting Vancouver for their last time in 2015 and you can walk-in to Little Mountain Shop on Main Street to shop their collection. From December 2nd – 6th experience Poppy Barley in Vancouver, BC. You can book appointments ahead of time for measurements and more information go to poppybarley.com/events.

  • I started blogging four years ago and at the time felt super shy and embarrassed about what I was starting for myself AND NOW.... I am sitting at shopping centres early in the morning wearing rompers and heels laughing as people drive by and stare. ⠀
•⠀
It's so freeing tossing that what if out of the way and just doing what you are feeling drawn to. Thanks to all of you for being here, it means SO MUCH to me!

  • Do what you love... so does that mean if I love shopping sales at @chaptersindigo then I should do it? I think yes!
Which means you’ll find me online tonight shopping graphic mugs and all things home decor for their biggest online sale of the season. I’ve heard there will be online deals of up to 60% off — definitely not passing that up! See my stories for a pro shopping tip to make sure you can snag what you want & a direct link to shop.
•
Sale runs NOW til June 20th. What are you going to be shopping for??

  • When James and I first met (at a tight and bright birthday party) the first thing that I learnt about him was that he was a father. I’ve always known him as a dad and knew right away when I saw him interacting and parenting Ezra that he was marriage material. Love how he parents and fathers our children. Happy Father’s Day to this guy ☝🏻 love you babe! (Posting early cause I’m gonna try to stay off the phone tomorrow.. as a little Father’s Day gift) ☺️
  • Has everyone else noticed the overload of mosquitos right now? I can’t even handle it. I’m pretty sure if I wore this @gentlefawn shirt outside right now I’d be covered with bites in two seconds.
