It is spring and there isn’t anything holding us back from celebrating. Katherine, Tamara and myself got our kids together for a hopping good time. Each of us brought something unique to party and we are so excited to be sharing these Easter/spring themed DIY’s with you. Find out everyone who was involved in this party, all about our geo floral Easter party decor and enter to win a $50 shop credit to Watermelon Tree Kids below.
Events like this take a lot of hard work to pull off. With a large number of people involved and different creative heads, communication is key. For this event I really wanted to showcase the beautiful colours of spring, the upcoming new kid’s spring styles, and how mixing two popular themes can be a success! Geometric and florals are usually enough on their own, but what about when you add them together. Well, you get this pretty amazing party, of course!
All of the kid’s looked absolutely adorable! Each of them were styled in spring finds from Watermelon Tree Kids. This store is local to us in downtown Fort Langley and carries a wide selection of kids clothing brands, including many local companies too! We love that they support the makers within our community, throughout Canada, as well as around the globe. Their selection is wide spread and they carry just as much boys as they do girls items. The next time you are in Fort Langley, make sure to give them a visit.

I LOVE the DIY chalk painted eggs! It’s such a good combination of cute and rustic. So simple too. My kind of DIY.
I love it too! Was so excited about it when Katherine (Our Happy Place) shared her idea to create them!
