We spent the day going from one side of Portland to the other. Biking, drinking coffee and checking out all the murals that we could find. A whole 10 + miles later and we got to view a large number of the murals on our list. Some murals that we had heard about before were a bit of a disappointment and others were just as good as we imagined. I hope you get a chance to explore and discover these 10 Murals in Portland.
There are sooooo many other murals that we passed, but these 10 were the top of our list. If you decided to bike around to find them make sure to take a map and check on it frequently so you don’t end up doing circles like we did a few times.

Cats, Bunnys, Rhinos and more
We had no idea what to expect when we searched up this mural. We read online about a kitty mural and decided we had to see what was in store.

Arrows
We stumbled upon this one right after we crossed over the Hawthorne bridge. We hadn’t planned it into the list of ones we wanted to find, though in the end it became a favorite.

Everything is Everything
This was top of my list. We did a couple circles looking for it and ended up finding it almost underneath the Tilikum Crossing. The mural is huge! I walked so far back to get it all in one portrait style shot. This image was shared on my Instagram here.

Flamingos
Whomp Whomp Whomp. One of the ones we were most excited about, one of the most disappointing. This one is almost completely covered by a little mobile coffee? shop. I think we were both too annoyed to see what the place was actually selling but it was right in front of the flamingos and I think it is there to stay.

Hey, Girl
Directly across from the flamingos is “Hey, girl”. Another one that wasn’t on the list but because it was in the same parking lot as the flamingos, why not share right. Now if only we could move that garbage bin.

Keep Portland Weird
Our hotel is right next to this one. Cars can park in front of it so the chances of you being able to get a shot in front of the wall is pretty slim but still a fun one to find.

Famous people and quotes
One of my friends recommended that we check out House of Vintage. This mural is painted on the side of the vintage boutique, both are worth checking out.

Rhino
Another one that ended up being a favorite. There are parking stalls in front of this guy too, we went later in the afternoon/evening and had the parking lot practically to ourselves.

Keep Your Chin Up
We didn’t end up looking for this one. We wanted to but totally forgot about it, if you look it up you might also want to check it out.

Large Banana
Another one we didn’t see but would have done too, if we didn’t already exhaust ourselves with the other eight. This banana spans the wall of a building and looks like it would be worth visiting.
