Did you know this?! White Spot is Canada’s longest running restaurant chain, it has also proudly supported local growers for more than nine decades! Some of these growers since the day White Spot and Nat Bailey started their partnership with a handshake!
I love the commitment to local and seeing farmers from BC highlighted on the website, you can find blueberries from Silver Valley farms, cheese from Golden Ears Cheesecrafters, tomatoes from Windset Farms and more!
This week I had the pleasure of going into my local White Spot to try the new ‘Celebrate BC’ menu for myself. While White Spot is always doing their best to support local farmers they recently launched this menu to include even more local items. The Summer Hummus and Tzatziki Dip was an easy new favourite!
What’s on the White Spot ‘Celebrate BC’ Menu?
○ Celebrate Summer Hummus & Tzatziki Dip
○ BC Summer Salad
○ BC Brie & Bacon BBQ Burger
○ Steelhead Florentine Bowl
○ BC Brie & Bacon BBQ Chicken Burger
○ BC Blueberry Pie – past White Spot item returning by popular demand
○ Caramelized Pineapple Gelato Coupe
○ BC Blueberry Milkshake
White Spot Restaurants is proud to share that they buy more fresh, locally-grown produce than any other full-service restaurant chain in the province. That’s pretty awesome! They also carry a 100% BC wine menu, that glass of Grey Monk was dang delicious.
If you want to visit White Spot for their Summer ‘Celebrate BC’ menu make sure to visit before September 4th as it is only on for a limited time.
