Shop Spotlight: Twine Abode

SMALL BUSINESS FEATURE
Comments Off on Shop Spotlight: Twine Abode

Time and time again I am so surprised with how small the world is. I was introduced to Twine Abode through a post on Instagram and fell in love with their style and products. It was after a few emails back and forth that I realized that these lovely ladies, actually lived in the same town as me. I love when that happens! So not only are these products all natural they are local too. Win Win!

I got a sweet package last month and have been using their kid’s bath time products ever since. The smell is amazing! When I tuck my daughter in before bed we always spend a few minutes snuggling and rocking her the chair, I love nuzzling my head in her hair and smelling the natural and fresh sweet orange smell of their kid’s hair and body wash. Pure delight.

It is such a pleasure to have Twine Abode in the shop spot light for the month of March, let me introduce you to Jenn and Leah, the lovely creators behind Twine Abode.

“Originally a partnership of three, with a plan to hand paint furniture and attend local vintage markets.  We decided to add candles, scrubs and creams as “fillers” for our booth.  As fate would have it, the “fillers” did better than the furniture.  The focus quickly shifted to an expansion on our body and home fragrance products.

The trio turned to two as the third partner left to pursue her own new journey.  We have fast become friends and companionable business partners in the crazy year we’ve known each other.  Both stay at home moms, the flexibility of being at home and still staying creative motivates us everyday.

We have been blown away by the opportunities and the amazing people we have met.  We are looking forward to expanding with new and exciting products and can’t wait to share them with everyone.”

  • This weekend we were invited to go visit the Easter Bunny. I knew the girls would be excited about it, but I didn’t realize HOW EXCITED, until we got there. They were hopping around, giving hugs and high fives and sneaking into the chocolate basket.⁣⠀

  • When I think about my childhood, bike riding is one of the first things that comes to mind. Spring and summer days we were always cruising down the streets with my sisters or making makeshift jumps from random pieces of wood.⁣
⁣
Soooo pumped to have all the kids on a bike this year and finalllllyyyyy getting a bike for myself so that we can create some of those same memories with our kids.⁣
⁣
All the gear came from @canadiantire, bikes, helmets and I even those colourful beads for the spokes to make noise as they peddle. Did you have those as a kid too? #sponsored #CanadasFunStore
