Please note: We are brand ambassadors for Springfree Trampoline, all views and opinions are our own.

It is the last day of school today for my two oldest kids. It’s officially summer break, say what! Can we all just agree that that came up way too quickly. For us we don’t have a whole lot of plans this summer. Hopefully we can sit back and relax, while the kids play and explore. Since getting our Springfree Trampoline just over a month ago I can actually see that being a bit of a possibility. Our kids love spending time on the trampoline.

One thing that we love most is that there are so many ways to make the trampoline a new experience. You might want to add a little water for those hot days, use the Tgoma system or even create a magical spot to eat. Whatever it might be, switch it up and your kids are bound to have endless fun enjoying their Springfree Trampoline this summer.

8 Ways to Utilize Your Springfree Trampoline This Summer (besides jumping)

  1. Have a Movie Night

It’s summer, the sun is out for way longer then we are used to and the kid’s aren’t going to sleep til late anyways. Why not have a late night movie night?! You could even surprise the kids and create a little set up for them to lay down, relax and enjoy! Get that popcorn popping and use the Tgoma Ipad holder to set up the movie or create your own big screen with a projector and a sheet.

  2. Add Water

We’ve already hopped on this one and Sophie can’t stop talking about it. Since the first hot day of summer she has asked for the sprinkler under the trampoline. Such a great way to cool down, just make sure that your kids are cautious as it can get a little slippery.

  3. Create a Picnic

This I am sure is going to be something that is done on repeat. My kids love eating outside, so there is no doubt they will love having a trampoline picnic. Perfect for the days that Dad is at work and we want to spend the day chopping up little finger foods and creating a unique space to eat lunch.

  4. Bring out the Board Games

This might be a little tricky if you have kids that can’t sit still, but could be worth a shot either way. Have the kids pick out some of their favorite board games and bring them outside to play. You could even simply bring out a deck of cards and create a game of your own that could include jumps that pair with the number on the face of the card.

  5. Have a Sleepover

My husband and son have had a sleepover in the backyard tenting for the past two summers and I wouldn’t be surprised if they went for a trampoline sleepover this year. This is something I am sure the kids will remember with a smile on their face for years to come.

  6. Use the Tgoma System

With you Springfree Trampoline you can purchase the Tgoma system. Once you have the app set up and downloaded on your Ipad there is so much you can do. The four sensors on the Springfree Trampoline allow you to connect through bluetooth to your tablet tracking movement. The whole family is encouraged to get active with the Tgoma system and enjoy quality time together.

  7. Create Routines

Growing up my sisters and I were all about creating different routines. Encourage your kids to create  little routines that they can practice together and then preform to you. Giving them this little task to do together will encourage them to work together and use their imagination.

  8. Bring out the Sidewalk Chalk

Their trampoline is their canvas. It might get a little bit messy but hey it’s easy enough to wash off. I don’t think there would be a kid out there that wouldn’t be so excited to create a masterpiece and then be able to jump all over it after. Easy on and easy off for hours of repeated fun!

*Also for younger kids, my almost one year old has the best time on there playing with bouncy balls.

  • My blog started when Sophie was just six months old. She's been a part of it since the beginning, sharing the photoshoots, adventures and little rewards that have come along the way. I feel like this whole journey has provided so many surprises both big and small. Once of the best things is being able to give the kids bigger experiences we may not have been able to do otherwise as well as being reminded (thanks @kindercanada) to celebrate the little things with little surprises. This certain surprise turned into a big one when Sophie opened up her chocolate and found a mermaid toy inside (she just asked Santa for a mermaid for Christmas ... a real one... ha!) #ad #littlesurprisescount

Said goodbye to the decade that was a whole lot of discovering who I am and the things that make my soul happy. I travelled around, got married and became a mother to three beautiful children. Excited about this new decade and what’s to come. I kinda feel like life’s just beginning.
  • We had such a great time hosting both the media preview night and @shopandtalkmarket the past two days. We were filled with so much love and encouragement from so many of you. Thank you all for coming to shop, saying hi, donating your time, being a vendor... whichever it may be, you made an impact to create such a successful event. A special thank you to @grimmsfoods who not only donated food for the media preview but also made a special donation to the @abbotsfordfoodbank directly. Thanks to them and all of you we are able to support more families in need this season.

  • Every party I style I have this vision in my head and each time I have no idea if it's going to turn out, what looks like one day of styling is really a whole bunch of days (and lots of late nights) of planning. I've learnt a few things from when I first started styling parties and wanted to share my top tips for party planning.
NUMBER 1 - Don't do it alone. This specific party I had lots of help from @goldngrasses and @juliechristinephotography. Ask for help, styling tips, and have fun doing it with someone.
NUMBER 2 - Less is more. Focus on a few key food items and make them the focus. We used a whole lot of meat and cheese here and yummmmmy, it was good!
NUMBER 3 - The dollar store has everything a craft store has and more! Parties and pretty decor doesn't have to be expensive, mine as well save some $ where you can! •
If you are on the save money train and interested in checking out more ways to save (or perhaps even win something for free!!) head over to my friends at @irisvisualgroup and check out their 21 days of Christmas. They've got lots of tips, tricks and giveaways just for you. #sponsored #IRISvisualgroup

  • We got our new sled in the mail and Evelyn has been so into it! I decided we needed to go for a drive and find some snow and give it a try. It's safe to say she loved riding in our @rudolphesled and I can see many more joyful snow rides in the future.
•
Rudolphe just launched their sled line and it's perfect for little ones that could use a lift in the snow. There's a buckle to keep them securely seated and you can get a name personalized on the back, we had our last name engraved. Perfect for all your snowy adventures. #CWJWpartner #rudolphesled #rudolphe3000
