Hire a Princess for Your Child’s Birthday Party

Frozen / Elsa Themed Princess Party in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland

Earlier in the summer we went to a friend’s princess birthday party and it was such a great time. Sophie talked about how much she loved interacting with Princess Rapunzel and how she would love her own princess party. Flash forward to the month before her birthday and I am looking into how to hire a princess and different companies that offer princess parties in Vancouver and the lower mainland.

I ended up connecting with Henna from Believe Party Entertainment. She shared her package offerings to me and we decided to move forward with booking Princess Elsa and face painting.

Throughout the party I just kept thinking, I can’t believe how easy this is. I’m used to having a party and constantly feeling rushed to move from one activity to the next and keeping all the kids entertained. Having a princess take over that job was a breeze!

We literally got to sit back and watch the show as well. Depending on the package that you choose there are a number of different offerings throughout the party, here are a few things that came with our package.

Believe Party Entertainment Princess Party Details

  • Princess Parties in Vancouver & Lower Mainland
  • Princess book reading and interactive game
  • Beautiful live singing
  • Face Painting or Balloon Twisting
  • Princess Coronation with gifted Tiara from the princess present & certificate
  • Special Gift for the birthday child
  • Many many photo opportunities

I honestly can’t even begin to explain how impressed I was with how well the party went. The Princess led the kids from one activity to the next, singing, faux snow creating, book reading, face painting, and more. The full time that she was here she was interacting and introduces something new for the kids to watch and enjoy.

A princess party isn’t a party without some sweet treats and birthday cake either! Our little Sophie was eye balling up the dessert table that I also took the easy way out. The cake and cookies were made by local baker, The Cake Mama.

They were such a hit!

I kept looking at the cake thinking about how glad I was that I didn’t make it myself. She really did such an amazing job and it turned out so beautifully. The perfect Frozen themed cake without being too overboard.

Besides the Princess Entertainment and the dessert table that was really it. Our three hour party went by in a flash and we were so thrilled to see all the kids having so much fun!

Sophie is already thinking about what princess she wants to invite next year…

That’s an awesome idea! I work with youth & it’d be amazing to bring a princess to an event.

  • Just about to head to Whistler with this guy and so excited to spend some time just the two of us! It’s been a whhhiiilllleeeeeee
  • Part way through our lunch the kids started to bicker back and forth, creating a rather not-so-enjoyable moment for everyone. It's those moments that us as parents can make a difference, how we handle situations with our children allows them to learn and grow through our words and actions. We spoke about the importance of being kind and how much more enjoyable our time together is when we are all speaking respectfully and sharing. .

I then shared with the kids that that was exactly why I was taking a few pictures with our pizza, to share with others about the launch of @panago_pizza's 2nd annual Bullying Awareness and Prevention campaign. That Panago wanted to celebrate young people who are being kind and looking out for others in their communities. Our kids are learning everyday, it's our job to be great role models, encourage their kind behaviour and then celebrate them in their good choices. .

Do you want to take a minute to celebrate a child in your life? From now until Nov 25th Panago is asking for you to nominate a deserving youth and share a story them using compassion to drive change. Go to my stories for more info and the link to nominate #sponsored #asliceofnice
  • Hey 👋🏻 it’s kinda late... for some I suppose.. I’m usually up til midnight working away and wanted to hop on and share about my blog/small business journey. It was the start of this year that I really “proclaimed” this as my business and really felt so proud of what I’d created. It’s been A LOT of work to say the least but it’s brought so so much joy, opportunities and relationships. I love creating and sharing here, but most of all I love encouraging and connecting with YOU! Thanks for being here and for reading this. I think today I all the sudden realized we were in November and the end of the year is near. How did that happen?! If you made it through this little love note, share something about you below.. maybe how you discovered my blog/Instagram or what a goal is that you have? Excited to read through those comments in the AM.
  • That day we found a marble staircase and @juliechristinephotography made a fart joke. She gets me.
  • Proud mama moment. Sophie came home from kindergarten one afternoon reciting this Remembrance Day poem over and over. It’s pretty cute! Turn your sound on and listen too 😊❤️
  • This picture makes me melt. I set the camera on self-timer and wanted to get some action shots of the three of us working on the "do try this at home" section of the @guinnessworldrecords book. When I looked back at the captures and I saw Ezras very content grin, I just couldn't even. Seriously no words. It reminded me that our kids don't care how we show up (myself pictured with a messy bun & PJs), it's the time we put in that is remembered. •

#ad Thanks to @guinnessworldrecords for encouraging us to attempt one of their 5 maker challenges and seeing how much fun the kids had blowing up balloons and learning to make balloon dogs. After a few tries I completed on in 2 minutes, might not be the fastest time in the books, but we saw some good progress from my first attempt ha! If your kids love creating, reading about all sorts of random and crazy accomplishments then head to the blog and check out what's new in the Guinness World Records 2019 edition. #GWR2019
