Watch the Bump Grow: 19 Weeks to 40 Weeks

Capturing the moments of pregnancy and how our bellies develop is something that I feel is overlooked by so many. Even for me and the first time around I didn’t think that it was something that I would care to look back on and because of that I didn’t take as many photos as I would have liked now. With Evelyn I made a conscious effort to capture weekly photos of the bump and I love looking back now and seeing the progress.

A couple tips for making sure you can remember to document each week.

1. Use an app that reminds you to take a ‘bumpie’ or set it in your calendar.

2. Some people like to wear the same clothing to see how it changes in a more accurate comparison

3. Don’t delete any photos if you don’t like them at the time, save them because I can almost guarantee you once baby is here you will love looking back at the ones you have.

4. Have fun and maybe even make a cool collage like this at the end of it.

Surprise to us! Evelyn arrived just before our due date and our 40 week bump was more of a 12 week bump (hehe!) and we had baby on the outside.

  • Day 2 of Vegas today and this is literally one of the only photos I’ve taken! We’ve been busy at the kids expo, walking and chatting all day yesterday. Going to spend the morning there today and then take the rest of the day off. What I wanna know is if anyone has been on this before. It moves Soooo slowly, I’m intrigued but, is it worth it?
  • 🌴 🍹 🌊 👙 ☀️ + a lot of walking.

  • My eyes keep shifting from her bright blue eyes to her really cute finger dimples, and it's as if she's thinking, "Mom. What are you looking at?"
  • Your hopes, dreams and aspirations are legitimate. They are trying to take you airborne, above the clouds, above the storms, only if you let them.

My recent trip to Ontario was a reminder of where you can go and what you can do when you follow your dreams. Which was also a repetitive theme throughout the speakers at @blogpodium •
