Watch the Bump Grow: 19 Weeks to 40 Weeks

August 14, 2016

Style & Beauty

Capturing the moments of pregnancy and how our bellies develop is something that I feel is overlooked by so many. Even for me and the first time around I didn’t think that it was something that I would care to look back on and because of that I didn’t take as many photos as I would have liked now. With Evelyn I made a conscious effort to capture weekly photos of the bump and I love looking back now and seeing the progress.

A couple tips for making sure you can remember to document each week.

1. Use an app that reminds you to take a ‘bumpie’ or set it in your calendar.

2. Some people like to wear the same clothing to see how it changes in a more accurate comparison

3. Don’t delete any photos if you don’t like them at the time, save them because I can almost guarantee you once baby is here you will love looking back at the ones you have.

4. Have fun and maybe even make a cool collage like this at the end of it.

Surprise to us! Evelyn arrived just before our due date and our 40 week bump was more of a 12 week bump (hehe!) and we had baby on the outside.

Love seeing a bump grow this way. And how special to look back and know it was them all along?
