Did you hear that the Abbotsford Tulip Festival is open? ha! Totally kidding. I know you know. It’s been one of the only things popping up in my Instagram feed lately, and I absolutely love it!
One year ago when we visited the Abbotsford Tulip Festival I was pregnant. I would have been about 6 months along and definitely rocking a bump. My sister-in-law and I visited and she snapped some photos of me. (View post here)
This year I got to go bright and early on a media visit with all three of the kids. It was a really awesome experience as there was next to no one else there. On top of that we went early enough that my son could come out before school, he misses 99% of our photoshoots so I was thrilled to capture him with us too.

As I walked the property I couldn’t stop saying, “oh these are pretty,” as literally every new variety caught my eye. There are many different varieties in the fields and millions of tulips planted. That’s a lot of pretty flowers.
We spent at least an hour there exploring the rows and capturing precious moments with the kiddos. Those little fingers couldn’t keep from grasping a few flowers too!
