DIY Spooky Spiderweb Balloons

I have seen some pretty cool balloon DIY’s lately and love seeing how creative people have been with making a simple solid coloured balloon into something so much more. For our upcoming Halloween photoshoot I wanted to create something different, something that would stand out on the table and still have a Halloween vibe. So here you have it, a simple DIY on how to create a Spiderweb Balloon.

When I continued to think about what would be neat I knew I wanted to add some texture. I couldn’t stop thinking about the stringing spiderweb like Halloween decor and finding a unique way to incorporate that. With a high contrast of the black balloon under the white web like material I knew this would be good.

Create a super easy DIY Spiderweb Balloon in literally minutes.

  1. Grab a small amount of Spiderweb Halloween decor and black balloon (or color of choice)
  2. Blow up balloon
  3. Pull apart the spiderweb material (I used about a handful), pull until you have a surface area that can wrap over the top of the balloon
  4. Pull down the sides and twist around the balloon tie
  5. Fasten to a stick to create even more of a Halloween vibe.

  • This girl couldn’t be happier to do these matching hair photos together. Who wants to learn this look?
  • What if I told you creating latte art just got easier.....⠀
Because it has! I've been loving my new machine, but have been lacking on the ability to create beautiful latte art. I created a handful of latte art stencils for anyone else like me that just can't seem to get it right. ⠀
Since getting my Nespresso machine I have learnt so much. Not only have I been improving my latte making skills but I have also discovered more about how Nespresso is working towards being as sustainable as possible. Each of their capsules are made of aluminum, which is fully recyclable. Right now there are 51 recycling points across the country, and the number keeps growing. More about their recycling programs and those super cute free printables are up on the blog now.⠀

  • How she’s been asking me to tuck her in, with both babies by her head.
  • Guesssss what! @roxannredekop and I were chatting and we are going to be putting some video hair tutorials together. She’ll be helping me style mine and Sophie’s hair for our matching mom and mini photos and then she’ll teach you how to do it. I loved all your feedback on our first matching mom and mini hair post and I can’t wait to bring even more!
  • Trying to capture some product shots of the @sodastreamcanada FIZZI and this girl has other ideas. She's been getting involved so much with the behind the scenes (and in front of... swipe left) for the blog and it's so fun to see her loving it as much as I do. We introduced the SodaStream FIZZI into our home recently and have been enjoying turning our tap water into sparkling water in a matter of seconds. Curious about how it works? Sophie is giving a mini tutorial in my stories, I think I have a little YouTuber in the making.
I'm so excited to join the @SodaStreamCanada Stream Team this year and to start changing the world through bubbles. Up next, we are working on fun recipes and would love to share all your favorite flavoured water combos. C O M M E N T below what you like to mix into your water and I'll be putting together a blog post, linking your favorite mix back to your Instagram.
