We are somehow nearing the end of March and I can’t even believe that it is the third month of the year. It feels like we were just setting our New Years goals. Now here we are, almost a 1/4 of the way into the year. I wanted to touch base on some of the lifestyle goals that I had set at the start of the year and share what is next on my lifestyle journey.

Making changes to your daily lifestyle is for sure not an easy thing. I can say that I want to exercise more, I can plan the day that I want to exercise, and still may not exercise. Plan it, write it out, schedule it, then do it. I’ve been struggling with just doing it, however I am excited to share that I am going to be working with someone one-on-one with exercising and eating healthier.

As we work harder at a better routine for healthier meals within our home, getting outside more for exercise and drinking more water, I can see the positive outcomes. Not all days are easy and not all days do we achieve all our goals, but it is focusing on those goals and seeing the positive outcome that has been beneficial. When the harder days come, we know we need to focus back on what makes a difference in our home. Getting outside, and doing things that make living a healthy life easy, like meal planning in advance and bringing water bottles with you on the go.. All of that fuels our minds and our bodies with good energy, allowing us to stay positive and active.
It is great to bring your kids along to the grocery store (even though I don’t always love it). I find that it allows them to help make healthier choices with me, as I can point out why we might buy one brand over another. Our kids can help make purchasing decisions together and be excited about eating the foods that they had a hand in choosing.

Having a special water bottle has been great for encouraging our kids to drink more water. I try to keep track of my daily water intake in my phone or on the weekly goals free printable that I created. The goals sheet has a place for calculating each glass of water each day. Remember to stay positive as you work towards your own goals, we are bound to have harder days, do not let those get you down. Learn from them and then make yourself stronger. You got this, I got this.
Let’s set our goals, accomplish them and then start over again in creating new lifestyle goals. Cheers to healthier lifestyle choices.
Omg it’s almost the end of March?!????
My 2 year old has a Thermos stainless steel water bottle with a straw that she/I love. I always make sure it’s full of water before we leave the house! They’re usually close to $20, but Walmart recently had them on sale for $6!
For me I have a stainless water cup with a straw that I tote around home all day and bring in the car. I always drink more when I have a straw for some reason!
Right! Time is flying by. I love that you have your special cups for keeping track of water, it totally does make it so much easier and more fun for the kids!
